Wiz Khalifa, Drake Placed On Forbes’ “30 Under 30″ List
With 2012 coming to a close, media publications all over are making lists giving respect to the best and brightest stars of the last 12 months. Now,Forbes has placed Hip Hop artists like Wiz Khalifa and Drake to its annual “30 Under 30″ list.
Forbes’ “30 Under 30″ list celebrates 30 of the most successful “young disruptors, innovators and entrepreneurs” under the age of 30 who hit it big over this past year. This year, however, a good number of Hip Hop’s biggest young artists ranked high on the list.
On the list, Wiz Khalifa fell in a top position. Forbes credited him for, “rak[ing] in $20 million over the past two years [and] twice landing on Forbes’ Hip-Hop Cash Kings list.” Wiz was not solo in this honor, as Drake, Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean also emerged on the list.
