Pep Guardiola has put his Premier League suitors on alert by revealing that he now feels ready to step back into management next season.
Guardiola stepped down as Barcelona manager last summer as the most successful manager in the Catalan club's history having won 14 trophies during his four seasons in charge.
The Spaniard is likely to have plenty of offers on the table come the end of the season, withManchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea amongst the clubs hoping to secure his services.
Speaking at the Ballon d'Or gala in Zurich, Guardiola confirmed that he is eager on making a return to football next season, but refused to comment on where he will end up.
"Yes I would like to come back to coaching," he said. "I have been out of coaching for a year and it's what I would like but there is no reason to give any more specific details.
"I don't have a team to go to but I would like to go back to coaching. I have taken a decision to return to coaching but beyond that no decision has been taken."
Chelsea have tried and failed twice to lure Guardiola to Stamford Bridge, the most recent being after Roberto di Matteo was sacked back in November.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson recently dismissed claims that he could step down soon, but the Scot has named Guardiola as one of the men capable of filling his shoes in the Old Trafford hot seat.
Speculation has also been rife that Manchester City could make a move for Guardiola as a replacement for Roberto Mancini, who has overseen the Citizens second consecutive exit at the group stages of the Champions League and is struggling to help his side defend their Premier League crown from rivals Manchester United.
Bayern Munich and AC Milan have also been linked with an approach for Guardiola, although when quizzed about the former, he said it would show a 'lack of respect' to comment on individual teams.
