The original G-Unit members and 50 Cent have become distant over the past few years. Just weeks ago, 50 Cent stated that a reunion would be formed between him, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo. “They have different agendas about things they want to do and they’re sorting themselves out in that way and I’m focused on things that are important to me right now, but there’s a strong possibility there will be a G-Unit collaboration with the three of us.”
In a report on hiphopdx.com, contrary to what he said just weeks ago, 50 Cent says a reunion with Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo to form G-Unit probably won’t happen. In an interview with Ear Candy Mornings, he admitted “Probably not, I don’t know. You have people that go in different directions.” 50 Cent also bluntly stated “I don’t care what other people want.”
On a lighter note, 50 Cent revealed Street King Immortal features. During an interview with Fuse, he revealed features for the album including Eminem, who is in “My Life” and “Champions”, along with Trey Songz, Ne-yo and Chris Brown, who appears in “Lighters”. The album still does not have a solid release date.
