Manchester United: Three players David Moyes should sign

Sir Alex Ferguson handed to David Moyes one of the strongest ever Manchester United squads - and one of the strongest squads in the world.
But every team can make improvements. Here are some of the possible signings Moyes could make to strengthen the Old Trafford club further.
Luke Shaw | Southampton
Patrice Evra isn't getting any younger so United should be looking for a replacement for the Frenchman who has served Manchester United so well in his seven years at the club.
With Moyes reportedly unwilling to raid his old club, which rules out Leighton Baines, Luke Shaw seems the next best bet. After an excellent season at Southampton, the youngster is wanted by many of the Premier League's biggest clubs.
He is a hugely talented player and at just 17 will only keep improving. Shaw would be a great acquisition for United and Moyes should be willing to splash the £10m that the Daily Star reported Southampton want for him.
Arturo Vidal | Juventus
United have lacked a real tough-tackling, defensive midfielder ever since Roy Keane left the club. It remains one of the few gaps in the club's squad that needs filling - at times the United defence looks exposed as the midfield players have ventured forward.
Arturo Vidal is a disciplined, multi-talented player who would almost be the final piece in the jigsaw for the Red Devils. He is a tireless runner who gets stuck in and breaks up the oppositions play excellently.
He would fit in very well in the Premier League and can also chip in with a good amount of goals for a defensive midfield player. Moyes would do very well to lure him to Old Trafford as Juventus are not willing to let him go and the player himself reportedly happy at the Italian side.
Thiago Alcantara | Barcelona
A player who has been very strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford over the past few weeks and a player who would be a great signing for David Moyes to make.
Said to be the replacement for the great Xavi at Barcelona once his playing days are over, Thiago Alcantara is one of the brightest young talents in the world today.
A creative midfield player who could help to link up the play and break down the opposition to create chances, he could provide the fuel for Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney to again fire United to the title.
Thiago and Rooney or Kagawa behind Van Persie would be an excellent attacking trio full of talent and creativity. United have reportedly already agreed a fee of around £17m with Barcelona so United fans could be seeing him grace the Old Trafford pitch next season.
