If morale was low in the AC Milan camp, it certainly isn’t anymore after smashing ten goals past SolbiaSommese Calcio in a training ground friendly.
Massimiliano Allegri took little pity on the Eccellenza Lombardy/A side, playing all his big players against a side who compete outside of Serie ‘D’ – the equivalent of League Two in England – and are an amateur team.
Giampaolo Pazzini scored a hat-trick and Robinho notched two, but it was the performance of M’Baye Niang which really caught the eye, scoring one for himself and picking up three assists in the first 45 minutes for the San Siro outfit. Antonio Nocarino also scored to make it 7-0 at half-time.
The onslaught continued in the second period, with Bojan, Stephan El Shaarawy and Mathieu Flamini adding their name to the list of goalscorers. Tino got one back for the visitors, but it was of little consequence during what can only be described as a demolition job.
