Former Celtic defender Gary Caldwell feels that his old club have the quality to overcome Juventus in the Champions League.
Neil Lennon's side are set to face the Italian champions in the first knockout stage of the competition, after they beat Barcelona 2-1 on their way to finishing runners-up in their group, behind the Catalan giants.
Caldwell told BBC Sport: "Over the two legs, it'll be a difficult tie, but, if they perform I think they can beat them."
The Scotland international and Wigan Athletic captain also believes that overcoming the Turin side will be a lot tougher than when the Bhoys beat Barcelona.
The 30-year-old added: "I think it'll be even more difficult than beating Barcelona.
"When you play Barcelona, you know you're playing one of the best teams in the world, so people ran an extra 10 percent, people worked an extra 10 percent.
"With Juventus - they're a great side in their own right - but they don't have the aura that Barcelona bring."
Last time the Glasgow club reached the last 16, they were knocked out by Barcelona, with them hoping it is third time lucky to make their first appearance in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
With Gary Hooper's name being spun round the rumour mill, Caldwell thinks that the Celtic striker has the quality to be a success in the English Premier League should a move come to fruition.
Caldwell said: "I think he's excellent and I've been really impressed with him, he works the line really well.
"I think the clubs that are looking at him now would definitely be getting a bargain, and, if he scores goals, then he could go to even bigger clubs."
While Norwich City have already been linked with the former Scunthorpe forward, Caldwell would be delighted to see Wigan enter the bidding for Hooper.
Caldwell joked: "I hope Wigan are one of the clubs in or him."
